My hair

So it's been said before that I struggle with oily hair but since I've been using herbal essences fresh balance I've really noticed a tremendous difference my hair as a new lease of life and I'm loving being able to wear it down again. However, my hair is in super need of a cut and my ends are really bad but I've been trying to hold off the inevitable by using a hair oil on my ends. I've been using gum hair salon expertise Moroccan argan oil after washing just on my ends and I've really noticed a change in my hair, my ends feel softer and stronger which for me is really good cause my hairs not in great shape. This is mainly due to it not having been cut for nearly 2 years (I'm not a fan of hairdressers) and previously I had bright pink hair so the bleaching hasn't helped but for now my locks have a new lease of life and I'm liking the results. I've also been using the herbal essences hair mask for split ends (the one in the red tub) which has also added to my hairs recovery. So if your like me and your warey of hairdressers these 2 products have really been a hair life saver well to be honest they all have. I would highly recommend a hair oil for dry ends and the one I use wasn't that expensive I think it was either £1.99 or £2.99 for a 100ml bottle and I use it everytime I wash my hair and its been towel dried on the ends and I've used hardly any (just a couple of drops) so it will probably last me ages. So it really is great value for money when you see the result.
Well guys I hope you enjoyed this post, sorry I'm not posting as often as I probably should but my laptops not in the best of shape, I really am in desperate need of a new one but rest assured as soon as I have one I will be posting a lot more and doing more on my YouTube channel, so if you haven't already then please subscribe and then any new videos will be on your newsfeed there. I have one I'm trying to edit at the moment but the damn thing is just so slow, so I'm using my iPhone to post this. Boo...
Ok well til the next one

Matte nails

Hey peeps,
I know it's been a while since my last post and I'm really sorry, I would love to say its cause I've been busy but unfortunately I haven't but I recently got some cool elf matte finisher nail polish from eBay and I love it. It literally does what it says on the tin and I am loving matte effect nails at the minute I think adds a wintery touch to your nails can't wait to do some sort off nail art with it, as yet I haven't as my nails are short at the mo and well I prefer longer nails for creative looks but rest assured as soon as they've grown back ill be trying out some nail art using it.

eBay 28 neutral eyeshadow palette review

So I needed some cool neutral eyeshadows as I didn't really have any and I saw these on eBay, I think it was like a fiver and you get 28 different shades, from light to dark, some matte and some shimmery, so I thought I'd give them a try see what they were like.
So anyways I've had these about a month or so and omg they are really good, the pigmentation of them is good they're quite long lasting and there really pretty shades as well. I've mainly been wearing the dark shimmery plum colour on my lids and the dark brown colour for my brows. Ive found them fairly easy to blend and well I'm no makeup artist I'm just a chick who wears makeup to make myself feel pretty. Im actually surprisingly impressed with them there is a bit of fallout from the shimmery ones but nothing a makeup wipe wont sort. I really can't complain though because for a fiver these were a bargin!!
Ok, so I just wanted to share my thoughts with you on what I thought of them, let me know if you have this palette what you think in the comments or if there's a palette you think I should try and ill speak to you guys soon.

Plum lips

So I recently posted a picture on my Instagram @prewbear84, asking which you preferred and a majority of responses was the plum/purple lip and I totally agree I think it looks so dramatic and really emphasizes the lip. I love the more neutral plum for day to day and the deep purple for more evening or just to look more dressy.
Ok so here's the 411 on my lip colours the top swatch is NYCs 410 plum rum (which i found in poundworld), bottom swatch is BC poison (99p from body care) I know proper cheap but they're actually really good quality for the price.
When I originally got these colours I was unsure if they would suit me so didn't want to blow all my budget on a lip colour I wouldn't wear, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the pigment from these lip sticks but I'm defo impressed with them.
Well I hope these inspire you to try darker shades and maybe try my budget plum lipstick for yourselves.
Have a great day and thanks for reading my blog

My zombie adventure

Hey, so one of the last posts I did was Halloween, which was about the Yorkshire scare grounds and I just wanted to say it was awesome. I was in fact one of the zombies and I loved every minute of it although I am now very happy it's over as being a zombie does kinda take it out of you, the last 2 weeks prior to Halloween have been some of the hardest night of my life, I have to say standing out in the cold is not something I enjoy doing and my feet have still not forgiven me for the experience but bugger me it was fun, and I've made some amazing friends doing it so always a bonus I guess, but I'm now happy to be snuggled up in my pjs with a yummy hot choccy.
I wasn't just giving out the scares oh no, me and my lovely wifey Mel got the chance to go round it aswell and boy was it scary a lot of it was in the dark in narrow spaces but it was so much fun, I wasn't as scared as Mel was as I knew all the cast but she pooed her pants while we went round and insisted on trying to hide in my jumper which just made my fellow zombies scare her even more, but it was such a good night and I can't wait for next years as I loved it. so that was my halloween but please leave me a comment if you went to ysg or just to let me know what you did this Halloween. Loadsa hugs and loves

Technic nail varnishes

Hey guys,
I just wanted to share with you guys some of my nail varnish collection. These ones are all from technics which are sold in bodycare (a discount beauty store in the uk) these nail varnishes were all under a pound and are really good quality. I generally put 2 coats then use the clear as a top coat and they last a good few days with out chipping, they wear a little at the tip of my nails but I think that's cause I have a habit of chewing them (I know slightly gross) but even so they last really well. I think a couple of them are dupes for opi nail varnish colours I know the glitter one is but I'm not sure about the others but I love the plummy pinky one (damson) it's really pretty on.
Hope you like them and please let me know if you've tried them out and what you think of them...
Byee xo
So the colours left to right are...
Clear, South Pacific (teal), curious violet (really dark purple), magenta (dark red), damson (plummy pinky), PARTY BRIGHTS sunset strip (bright orange), glitter carnival (dupe of opi)

Hair Care

Hey guys
So for years I've suffered with oily hair, I did find a shampoo years ago that worked really well but they discontinued it :( and since then I've found it really hard to find any thing that works.
I've seen a few bloggers sayin that herbal essence fresh balance had really worked for them, so I've decided to try it out.
So I've literally just used this for the first time today and almost instantly I can tell a difference straight away, when I washed it and ran my fingers over it, it was squeaky clean, as in it actually squeaked. And even now it feels fresher than before and it smells really nice..
So I'm going to carry on with it and see how it goes and maybe do another post after I've used it for a while.
if you've use this product or any other for oily hair let me know what you think of them in the comments below...

My yellow Button...

So I carry this yellow button around with me in my purse, weird I know, but it has special meaning to me.
Ok so the story of the yellow button. When I was a little girl I used to love watching Button Moon and ever since then it always reminded me of my daddy who passed away when i was 10. When ever i'm down I watch button moon and a couple of months ago it was my Birthday and i was really missing my ad and I found a book "Tina's Birthday" which is from Button Moon and it made me cry thinking of when my dad used to read it to me. then about a month or so ago, I was feeling really blue i had alot of stuff on my mind and I saw this button on the floor. I just thought it was so unusual to find a yellow button like this one so i picked it up and it made me think of my dad. So now i carry it with me at all times to remind me of the wonderful man that was my daddy...

Stephen Prew, My daddy
I still miss him even after 18 years, Its so hard to get over someone who ment more to you than anything ever could. I would never wish anyone to go through the pain of losing someone like their daddy its the worst feeling ever and if you've lost your dad or anyone close to you, ALWAYS remember they love you and they'll find a way to show you like my daddy did

Hugs to everyone out there

sock bun

hey guys
So the messy bun has been a huge thing recently and i have to confess i 99% of the time have mine up in a bun too but i just wanted to show you a cool trick to get a perfect big messy bun.
Ok yes its a rolled up sock but i think you'll agree it works really well and is so simple and easy to do.
I used an old odd knee sock for mine so it was a little bigger when rolled up and just secured it with a couple of stitches round the end so it doesnt come undone. Then all you need to do is put your hair in a high pony tail or where ever you want your bun to be, thread your hair through the sock and twist the sock down rapping your hair round as you go and then wallah, a cool funky bun. You can secure it with bobby pins but its pretty secure with out and lasts all day.
well i hope you enjoyed this post feel free to leave any comments below or even photos of your sock buns....

how to:...get my look

hey so i thought i'd let you guys know how i get my look.
1. i apply foundation to my face, i generally use my fingers but you can use a brush its fine, I use natural collections colour foundation in porcelain.
2. apply powder all over your face using a kabuki brush, I use natural collections powder in light  i think.
3. for this look i just apply blusher to the apples of my cheeks. Im not sure which blusher it is as the names come off cause ive had it for so long.
4. fill in your eyebrows using a brown eyeliner, the one i use is from primark. and then dust over with some matte brown eyeshadow using an angled brush (again im not sure which one i use, this time cause i pinched it off my sister lol)
5. I then put a light nude eyeshadow all over my lid and use a darker shade just in my crease.
6.My eyeliner i use my khol pencil on my upper and lower water lines and then i use a liquid eye pen on my lid just to the edge of my eye.
7. apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes, i use collection 2000 skyscraper waterproof mascara i think it gives my eyes a nice look to them.
8. lastly my lips in this picture im wearing a red lipstick its really nice and bright and i think it gives quite a retro twist to my look especially with the glasses im wearing. the glasses i have on i got from eBay the dont have lenses in them so i dont wear them alot as i have really bad short sightedness but i think they are so cute.

well thats how i get my look i hope you like it and let me know what you think in the comment box. dont forget you can follow me on twitter @tashprew and on instagram @prewbear84. and if you'd like me to make avideo of how i get any of my looks then please let me know also.

2. once dry i've used BarryM's crackle polish on one nail to give me a statement nail.
3. tip your nails with a different colour nail varnish im just using a black polish and you can get guides to help you get the french manicure look.
4. For my little finger ive gone with a half-moon manicure which i think goes really well and looks super cool.
then 5. give your nails a top coat with some clear varnish and vwala super awesome nails.

ombre nails

Hey guys so i've just had a go at another on of my favorite looks for nails at the moment, i'm loving the ombre nails so much right now so i thought i'd give them ago.
heres how i got this look:
1. base coat your nails and then paint white i used 2 coats of white.
2. Draw lines of your chosen nail varnish on some paper, i found this easier than painting it on to the sponge.

3. Dip your make-up sponge in the nail varnish and then place it on your nails and  repeat until you've done all your nails. you'll need to remove any excess nail varnish from your skin, using a cotton bud and some remover.

4. Add a clear top coat and your ombre look nails are complete i used these , Barry M nail varnishes in bright purple and cyan blue.

Well thats my ombre look I hope you like it and dont forget to post your attempts in the comment box i'd love to see them till next time. I love you all xx

pretty nails

hey guys so i just wanted to show you all my recent attempt at nail art and i love this look its a neon leopard print inspired look hope you like it xx

here's how to get the look:
1. apply a base coat, and 2 layers of nail varnish, i used a simple white for mine.
2. using a doting tool or anything you have handy, again i used cocktail sticks, dot your nails with some pretty coloured spots.
3. carefully outline your spots using black nail varnish.
4. let them dry and then finish with a coat of clear varnish.

have fun and feel free to show me your attempts in the comment box xx
